Yesterday the internet hooked us up with Jessie Ware for the first time in a year with amazing new track ‘Running’, produced by Dave Okumu of The Invisible. Today we get hooked up once again as Dave’s South London trio are back with new cut ‘Protection’. It’s the first thing I’ve heard from the group since their Mercury nominated debut back in 2009 and is the first single from a new album due later in the year. It’s quite simply sublime.
Brixton dream Jessie Ware stole our hearts a year to the day with her and Sampha’s unstoppable ‘Valentine’. New single ‘Running’ was made with a little help from Julio Bashmore and The Invisible Dave Okumu (incredible). Touch below to hear it over at Red Bull. [photo]
