We have fallen for this new one by Sweden’s Bam Spacey. ‘Taigan’ is taken from his forthcoming Land EP, out May 22nd with Ceremony. Soak up the rabbit rubbing, milk glass glugging, visuals above.

Bam Spacey’s single ‘Vi Delar Samma Grav’, along with the accompanying B-sides, is shaping up to be our favourite release of the year so far. To call ‘B1 Ström’ and ‘B2 Ström (Saturday Mix)’ “B-sides” seems somewhat unfair, as they hold their own and could easily be singles in themselves. ’B1 Ström’ is beautifully textured with deep bass-y, yet uptempo, beats reminiscent of Nicolas Jaar, and is given direction by the saultry vocodered vocals that we have come to expect from Bam Spacey. ’B2 Ström (Saturday Mix)’ is a clever edit of ’B1 Ström’ and pretty much ready for any dance floor. Class act label Ceremony gave us the heads up for this stunning remix Albert Swarm crafted for Young Magic’s ‘Night In The Ocean’. Swarm turns the original into a hypnotic swell of atmosphere seemingly effortlessly. Keep an eye out for a follow up to his excellent Held EP sometime this year.
