Today is the 29th of May, if you didn’t know, which means that today is the release day of Ditt Inre’s debut EP En Värld I Brand via the eternally blissful Cascine Records. We featured the first single off En Värld I Brand EP a couple of weeks back and now we are happy to bring you another two tracks for your listening pleasure, EP opener ‘Utan Titel’ and the penultimate ‘Jorden’. Both tracks, as i’m sure you will agree, vindicate why Ditt Inre are our favourite Scandinavians of the moment. A gorgeous electronic pop gem from Stockholm’s Ditt Inre, with ‘Månljus (saknad)’, which means something in Swedish, probably. The track is taken from Ditt Inre’s En Värld I Brand EP, out on May 29th via Cascine. Ditt Inre certainly epitomises the “Balearic disco” scene of Scandinavian electro, yet the textured, organic and visceral surroundings you find yourself immersed in elevates Ditt Inre’s sound head and shoulders above a simple genre grouping. A while back we feature a sneak preview of ‘Proxy’, taken from the imminent Futures Ep from RxGibbs, and now you stream the EP in it’s glorious entirety over at Cascine’s Soundcloud. This is our pick, titled ‘Lumiere’, which is available to stream above. The Futures EP drops digitally on the 21st of February, via Cascine, and be prepared to experience at least some form of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

Earlier this week we were informed that Michigan producer RxGibbs has been added to the ever expanding Cascine family who are set to release his Futures EP digitally on the 21st of February. This is the second sneak preview from Futures, titled ‘Proxy’, which is available to stream above. Jensen Sportag have released as a free download their final remix of the year before they get to work on their debut LP, out sometime in the new year. We have it on good authority that this will be the last before the album drops and what a way to go out in what has been an incredibly successful year for Jensen Sportag and one of our favourite labels, Cascine.
