We’ve been listening to Londoner Tom Apaul for a while now and everything to date has blown us away. An exciting blend of upbeat RnB and electro, we think he is definitely one to look out for. AUDIO: Ditt Inre - Utan Titel // Jorden

Today is the 29th of May, if you didn’t know, which means that today is the release day of Ditt Inre’s debut EP En Värld I Brand via the eternally blissful Cascine Records. We featured the first single off En Värld I Brand EP a couple of weeks back and now we are happy to bring you another two tracks for your listening pleasure, EP opener ‘Utan Titel’ and the penultimate ‘Jorden’. Both tracks, as i’m sure you will agree, vindicate why Ditt Inre are our favourite Scandinavians of the moment. AUDIO: Tom Kitty Oliver - Acadian Divide

Big smile on our face when we saw an email from Andrew Hamlet, one half of Pressed And (who by the by made us this rad mix), with a new project of his very own as Tom Kitty Oliver. Here’s the first warped track from Life On Loop, but we highly recommend you take in the whole thing for full effect. Grab the download or go whole hog and nab the tape over at Bandcamp.

Another first class listen courtesy of London’s Fabiana Palladino. This demo of ‘Dream On’ follows up the track ‘Young Thing’ which we brought to you last week. Park up a beach chair and soak up this instantly catchy pop ditty. We can’t wait to hear more.

AUDIO: Follow Me - Aaliyah

After their weird and wonderful remix of ‘A Real Hero’ by College ft. Electric Youth (you know, the opener on the Drive soundtrack) a while back, we have been keeping a watchful eye on the illusive Follow Me. Stream ‘Aaliyah’ above, a track not so heavy on the synth work that we usually know them for, but rather more heavy on a Aaliyah sample. It’s billed as an “EP Teaser Track”, so we are very much looking forward to the complete package.

AUDIO: Medla - Driving Me Wild

Joe Cowie, from Bolton in the UK, makes music as Medla and Kahwe. The reasons for the two different aliases is not immediate to us, as under both he makes catchy, bouncy house beats. Cowie, who runs the Leeds/Edinburgh based Transmissive Collective, dropped this track late last night, titled ‘Driving Me Wild’, which is available to stream above. Got us looking forward to the weekend already.

AUDIO: Shaky Snakes - Post-Supernova Blues

Delightful dream pop track coming from the latest release on Purr Tapes, Shaky Snakes with ‘Post-Supernova Blues’. Shaky Snakes is Canadian guy Ian Johnston, this is the first track of his we’ve been introduced to, and we are now very much looking forward to being swept away by more chilled out jams. Smooth easy listening on this demo from London singer-songwriter Fabiana Palladino. So many great female artists coming from London in recent times, this track certainly proves Fabiana to be yet another in the making. Be sure to note the tasty fretless bass work by her superstar father, Pino Palladino.

We’ve been completely blown away by this track from unknown aeirs tv and the video has us hooked. You can grab the track along with two others for free over aeirs tv’s Bandcamp, with one of those titled ‘Lies’ available to stream below.

AUDIO: NUDITY - BAD TEETH

We have been listening to debut album from Nashville based duo NUDITY, titled Heavy Petting, for the past couple of days now and there is something about it that just stays with you. Maybe it’s the deafness in your ears, but also the heavy electronic, glo-fi garage rock that offers a sense of nostalgia without sounding tired. Stream our pick from the record, ‘Bad Teeth’, above and head to NUDITY’s Bandcamp to grab the digital and physical release via Amdiscs.

AUDIO: Fleeta - Late Evening / Please Don’t Leave

Fleeta is Spencer Diehl from Philadelphia and he has just released his debut LP Zoo, a sort of glitchy, electronic, post-dubstep record that is as intricate as it is interesting. Stream ‘Late Evening’ and ‘Please Don’t Leave’ above, both taken from Zoo, with both emphasising the breath of sounds and styles being shown off by Spencer on the LP. This is all somewhat unsurprising mind, as Tours, who we featured back in December last year, is the executive producer of the album. Grab the entire Zoo LP here.

We have been listening to the incredible West In Dust 2012 compilation non stop since it’s release a couple of weeks back, so this post is a long overdue from our perspective. Stream one of the tracks taken from the compilation above, a collaboration from shortcicles and Elephant & Castle, titled ‘All I Can Say’. AUDIO: Tortilla Pass - Forever Fire

We have been keeping an eye on Kallie Lampel for a couple of months now, ever since that Boards Of Canada remix surfaced last February. Kallie, or Tortilla Pass, from Piermont New York, has just dropped this instrumental track titled ‘Forever Fire’ and claims it is his first go at mastering his own beats. Some more sweet sounds coming out of the UK, this time from London duo Alunageorge, made up of producer George Reid and singer Aluna Francis. ‘Just A Touch’ is taken from the ’You Know You Like It’ EP available now digitally via Tri Angle Records and will see a physical release in June.
